1975 Pittsburgh Steelers Super Bowl X Championship Ring
This exceptionally rare 1975 Pittsburgh Steelers Super Bowl X Championship ring is a salesman sample featuring "Harris" on the side, a nod to Hall of Fame running back Franco Harris, one of the team's iconic leaders.
Crafted by Balfour, it is stamped "LGB QP" for Quasar Plus and weighs an impressive 39.1 grams. Approximately size 11, the ring is in near-mint condition with minimal signs of wear. Please refer to the provided photos and videos for details.
The 1975 Pittsburgh Steelers were a powerhouse, finishing the regular season with a 12-2 record under the leadership of legendary coach Chuck Noll. The team was stacked with Hall of Fame talent, including Terry Bradshaw, Franco Harris, Lynn Swann, and the fearsome "Steel Curtain" defense led by Mean Joe Greene and Jack Lambert.
In Super Bowl X, the Steelers solidified their dynasty with a thrilling 21-17 victory over the Dallas Cowboys. Lynn Swann's acrobatic catches earned him Super Bowl MVP honors, making him the first wide receiver to win the award. This victory marked the Steelers' second consecutive Super Bowl title, further establishing them as the dominant force of the 1970s NFL.
This ring is not only a remarkable collectible but also a stunning tribute to one of the greatest teams in football history.
Please note: This is a sample ring and did not belong to Franco Harris. It is made out of Quasar Plus with C.Z. stones. It is a Silver color but appears to have a goldish hue in the photos.
