This is a rare, salesman sample 2000 Chicago Fire MLS Lamar Soccer "US Open Cup" Champions Ring that has defender, Diego Gutierrez's name on the side.

Diego Gutierrez scored 12 goal and recorded 44 assists in his 276-game career with The K.C. Wizards and Chicago Fire.

The Chicago Fire of Major League Soccer ended the 2000 season with a record of 17 wins and 9 losses and 6 ties for 57 points finishing first in MLS's Central Division. The team compiled a postseason mark of 4-3.

Chicago led the circuit with 67 goals. The club allowed 51 goals. Ante Razov scored 18 goals for the Fire, while Dema Kovalenko, Josh Wolff, Peter Nowak and Hristo Stoitchkov each contributed five or more, too. Peter Nowak accounted for 14 assists. Zach Thornton topped the squad with 15 wins and a team-best 0.85 goals against average, best among goalkeepers with enough qualifying appearances.

Bob Bradley coached the team. The 2000 Chicago Fire lost in the MLS Cup.
