On August 1, 1987 Mike Tyson defeated Tony Tucker in a 12-round Unanimous Decision, unifying the WBA, WBC and IBF belts to become the first undisputed Heavyweight Boxing champion since Leon Spinks in 1978. For his first unified title defense, Tyson fought Tyrell Biggs just two months later, on October 16, 1987. He would defeat Biggs on a TKO in the 7th round, his first of six successful title defenses before losing the belts to Buster Douglas in 1990.

These are training trunks used by Mike Tyson in preparation for his heavyweight championship fight with Tony Tucker on August 1, 1987.

The trunks are black satin with black trim and are labeled for this fight on the inside at the drawstring, perfectly intact exhibiting some wear. Comes with a letter of authenticity from Tyson's early assistant manager Steve Lott and also with a photograph showing Tyson wearing them.
